The best question I was asked last week...

and the answer you wouldn't expect

The question was….

“Alli, I’m in so much pain in my upper back, how do I get rid of it?”

It was literally a pain in his hip coming from one of his glute muscles.

But that’s not where he felt it. He was getting tension headaches from having tight upper back muscles. Those were tight from his lower back being tight. That was from sitting too much causing his hamstrings to be tight and his glutes to be weak.

See, everything is connected. The longer you sit, the more imbalanced your muscles become. This is how standing desks and treadmills under desks have become all the rave. But here’s the thing, if you already have muscle imbalances, you’re just going to have more pain if you stand more.

After looking at his posture it was clear what the issue really was, and it’s a typical one for someone who sits in front of a computer. His glutes are weak, in fact his whole back, butt, legs are a mix of weak and tight muscles.

Weak glutes make for tight hip flexors, low back and hamstrings. Also makes for weak core muscles.

Training your booty and abs are critical components to being pain free if you sit a lot. He started doing my bikini bottom and back n abs trainings, and is feeling better already. Stretching and foam rolling have played a big part too.

If you’re experiencing any of this, reach out so I can help get your bod back on track.
