you CAN have it all!

It’s been too long since I’ve written to you. The truth is I’ve been extremely busy working on expanding my existing coaching business to businesses as a benefit to the employer and employees.

I’m writing to you today, after having an insightful conversation with a branding guy on Wednesday who encouraged me to share my expertise with you more, so here we are.

As you know, I hope, I have a unique perspective on mental and physical health, and how they both impact your ability to build and retain wealth. Since I have decades of experience in fitness, psychology, and financial planning, I have a lot to share on the aspects of our lives that are most important to each of us.

As we approach summer, I want to share with you a simple idea you can use right now to accelerate your fat loss. Liposomal Acetyl-L-Carnitine supplement you can get on amazon. I take it before I do cardio that’s any harder than walking.

What it does: the acetyl-l-carnitine is the compound inside our cells that carries a fat molecule into the mitochondria to be used for energy. AKA, FAT BURNING. The more of it you have ready when you demand more fat burned at a give time, means the more fat that can be burned. The liposomal technology forces the cell to accept the molecule into the cell, which means more of what you take will actually get to work for you. It’s hard to know the exact percentage because I’m not aware of any studies that have been done, but taking regular L-Carnitine itself is likely that only 10% of what you take makes it into your cells.

How to use it: take it prior to doing cardio, which also means you need to do your cardio!! Your metabolism has to run pretty high already for you to burn adequate amounts of fat without having to do cardio to force your body to release fat.

Why is that? Because dieting alone is a crappy way to try to drop body fat. Here’s the reality of it: you cut calories so you’re in a deficit so you can lose weight. Then your body down regulates your metabolism to meet the deficit. You can lift weights, (and you should) to stimulate muscle growth but it’s mostly just stimulating growth that won't happen because muscle needs calories to grow, and you’ve just cut your calories so low that muscle really won’t grow much. If you have a lot of body fat, your body will utilize the fat to have the energy to build muscle as long as you’re eating enough protein to support that. Most people cut all calories across the board and don’t eat enough protein, so that makes muscle growth impossible. This is what’s happening with GLPs taken without exercise and protein being a focus.

What’s easier to do is to eat at maintenance for the weight you want to be, lift weights, do cardio daily, and overeat your protein, fruits and non-starchy veggies. Making this a habit, limiting foods made from processed flours, and over time your metabolism will correct itself to become a Fat Furnace (that’s my phrase btw).
